I was very unhappy with my wardrobe. That is when I cleared out everything my closet, Marie Kondo style, and sold/donated anything that didn’t bring me joy. And then I was left with almost nothing. I’m not even exaggerating. Around this same time I watched The True Cost documentary on Netflix and my life was forever changed. This documentary sparked a passion in me that I hadn’t felt in a long time. I knew immediately that I wanted to be a more conscious consumer.

Learning to thrift shop like a pro isn’t something that comes easily. I spend a lot of time at thrift stores and perusing websites that sell pre-owned clothing.
