Second Skin Sleep Tee | Second Skin Sleep Short
The Best Tommy John Pajamas
I love a good pair of pajamas. I think it comes from years of just throwing on an old ratty tee and crawling into bed. Now I try to have a more intentional bedtime routine, which includes putting real pajamas on. I’ve been hearing about Tommy John for a few years now, and everyone that I know that has worn their product has loved them. These are the first Tommy John pajamas that I have ever tried on and I am obsessed with them! The fabric is lightweight and feels so good on your skin, hence the name second skin.
Technically I can’t qualify something as the best when I’ve only tried one product, but I cannot recommend these pajamas enough! I also bought this Second Skin Triangle Bralette for everyday wear and it’s like not wearing a bra. These Second Skin Cheeky underwear are the most comfortable underwear I’ve ever owned as well!
Other Obsessions This Week
Food
I started following Heidi (@FoodieCrush) on Instagram and I can’t decide if it’s the best or worst thing that’s ever happened to me. Her page is full of food photos that make you want to head straight to the kitchen. I made this BLT Pasta Salad this week and was extremely proud of myself. I did have to substitute a few things based on what I had on hand and what was available locally. Check out her website for more food inspiration!
Podcasts
Typically, I listen to podcasts every day while I’m working. However, lately, I haven’t been listening to them as much. I don’t know if that is because I am recording my own podcast so I don’t want to have someone else’s voice in my head while I’m recording or if it’s just a stage and I’ll get back to listening soon. Anyway, the New York Times’ podcast The Daily did a great two episodes on cancel culture that I found fascinating.
Also, don’t forget to listen to my podcast Press for Champagne that I host with my friend Brandi!
Clothing
Working from home has done a number on my wardrobe. Honestly, I hardly own any clothes. And because of reselling, most of them come from goodwill. I’m all about sustainable fashion when at all possible! Anyway, here are a few things that I picked up over the last few weeks and my thoughts.
I recently found the perfect pair of flats that will take you from day to night with ease. Check out my Kurt Geiger London Princely flats review here.
In three of the photos below, I am wearing my all-time favorite Superga Sneakers and a pair of Joe’s Jeans Cuffed Hemmed Knit Shorts that I bought at Nordstrom Rack but are now sold out. But here is a similar pair from Old Navy that’s on sale for $18!
I love this Slim Fit Short Sleeve Tee from Target! Even though it’s a slim fit and I normally don’t prefer that, the fit is great. I’m wearing a large and also bought it in white.
I talked about this White T-Shirt Bodysuit from Danielle Bernstein’s line for Macy’s in this post a few weeks ago but I wanted to show it next to these two tees so you can see how it fits. I still love it by the way and I’m wearing a medium.
Everlane is a sustainable fashion brand that has built a career on transparency. I love that about them! I did not love their Oversized Crew T-Shirt though. The fabric was too thin for me and the overall look was just a bit too baggy, I even went down to a medium instead of a large that I normally wear in tees. In hindsight, I should have purchased the small for a better fit. I ended up returning this tee.
This Weekend Tee Dress from Everlane looked so cute and comfortable on the website model. For me, it was just too long. I could’ve had it hemmed but I didn’t love it enough to go to the trouble. I am wearing a medium here, but I did return this dress.
What is something that you are obsessed with this week? Are you going to check out the best Tommy John pajamas that I recommended? I need to know what I’m missing out on, comment below and tell me!
