This week’s roundup of work from home outfits is inspired by the fact that I am constantly cold and I have been living in sweaters. In my opinion, a good, cozy outfit can really do wonders for your mood. Why?, you ask… Because when you are comfortable, you look good and your outfit is on point, you can reach peak productivity!
If you don’t believe me, try getting something accomplished when you’re still in your pajamas! It just does not set the right tone for the day. Trust me, I’ve been working from home for over three years. That pretty much makes me an expert, right?
Monday
Monday’s look is inspired by not really wanting to get dressed because, well, it’s Monday. I found these track pants and thought that they were the perfect option because you can be dress them up for the work day, and nobody would know that you are really just wearing track pants.
The oversized, grey turtleneck sweater is a staple in every winter closet. Do a french tuck with the track pants, add your accessories, and get the work day started.
Tuesday
This is your warning that sometimes I can get bougie in my outfits. For example, this 1/4 zip sweater is quite expensive but I just love it! I am sure there is a more affordable option on the market if you’re not interested in spending $200+ on a sweater. (PS, I don’t blame you!) This 1/4 zip sweater from Madewell is just as cute & half the price!
Tuesday is another “athletic” pant day with these buttery soft pants from Lululemon. FYI, these look short on the model but if you’re under 5’9, they hit closer to the ankle. I loved putting this outfit together because all of these pieces can be used in a variety of other outfits.
FYI, I’m all about dressing sustainably and making sure I will wear something enough to get my money’s worth. That is why I don’t mind investing in pieces that I believe are “timeless.”
Wednesday
No, I am not going to suggest wearing leggings or track pants every single day of the week. I own these straight leg jeans from Madewell and they are the most comfortable thing that I have ever owned! I cannot recommend them enough. If you follow me on Instagram then you’ve heard me talk about my love for them before.
This work from home outfit is casual and relaxed. I love a button down shirt because it’s effortlessly chic. You just look more put together than if you were in any old tee. Don’t forget to add your jewelry!
Thursday
I’ll admit, I saw this sweater from Summersalt on Instagram this week and I haven’t stopped thinking about it since. If you do end up buying this sweater, please tell me all about it! (Also, if you use my link to purchase, I will get a small commission so I can buy one too! So thanks for helping me out! :))
Again, we’re wearing jeans in this work from home outfit because we need to remember what it’s like to wear real pants! And these wool socks from Bombas will keep your feet nice and warm while you work.
Friday
This outfit, featuring the best faux leather leggings, will take you from your work day to after work drinks with your friends and you won’t even need to change. The faux leather leggings from Spanx are another closet stable that I just can’t recommend enough. Add a classic white button down and loafers to achieve this look. But your options really are endless with these leggings!
Don’t forget, you can always find these products at a discounted price when you buy pre-owned on Poshmark or eBay!
That’s it for this week. I’ll be back next week another round up! Thanks for stopping by!
