This week’s obsessions were a little tougher to come by right now. I don’t know how many times this week I’ve said, “what a crazy time we’re in right now.” It’s the new “how’s the weather” talk. Each day brings a whole new level of unknown. The only thing that we do know is that we will come out on the other side of this and our appreciation for the important things will be on a whole new level.
This week has been wild for me. Not only with the coronavirus and not knowing what my future will look like career-wise, but also my cat is dying. I’m not going to get too far into the details because it’s just sad, but in the next few weeks, when he takes a turn for the worse, we will have to put him down so that he doesn’t suffer any more. With that being said, I haven’t really been excited about anything this week! So you know everything I’m talking about below really got my attention.

Podcasts
We are starting with podcasts today because I launched a new podcast with my friend Brandi called Press for Champagne! Every week we discuss how life is essentially an all you can eat shitshow, served with champagne. Or whatever your drink of choice is! Definitely NSFW and don’t listen when there are children around!
The second podcast that has saved me this week from wallowing in self-pity is The Show on Rock 105.3. Technically this is a radio show that airs every morning M-F, but they also record the episode and replay it as a podcast on I Heart Radio’s App. They also do a NSFW podcast called The P-1 Podcast. This show is what helps get me through my day! I’ve been listening to them for 10 years since my days of living in San Diego.
Books
I’m still trying to finish up Career of Evil by Robert Galbraith. I just haven’t dedicated any time lately to sitting down with a book.
If you’re not following @nationalcowboymuseum, you are missing out my friends! The museum is obviously closed down right now but their security guard, Tim, is still on duty. To kill two birds with one stone, they’re having him also do the social media marketing and it is the ray of sunshine that we all need right now. hashtag the cowboy thanks, Tim
I think that we’re all looking for a little interior design help as we stare aimlessly at our walls right now. @justinablakeney provides just that! Her instagram is filled with bright colors and fun patterns.

Food & Drink
I made a version of this breakfast pizza this week and it turned out legit, if I do say so myself!
I’ve also made two batches of these no-bake peanut butter energy bites. I used honey instead of maple syrup because that’s what I had on hand. They’re addicting!
TV & Movies
I binged Madam C. J. Walker on Netflix yesterday. I definitely recommend it!
I watched most of Tiger King, also on Netflix, this week which rotted the few brain cells that I have left! We break it down on this week’s podcast!
