My Favorite Spring Decor Items From Target
It’s officially that time of year when winter has overstayed its welcome. In Nebraska, the weather can be very indecisive. One minute it’s a blizzard, the next it’s warm enough to not wear a coat. This is always when I get stir-crazy. That’s why I love decorating my house for spring.
Now, I’m not talking over-the-top flowers and bunnies or whatever else you think of when spring hits. I’m talking subtle touches of brightness and tasteful faux florals. This post is dedicated to spring decor finds from Target but I wanted to mention that I get all of my faux florals from Petal & Stem.
As I was going through Target’s spring decor, I liked it so much but it didn’t all go together. So I put together two mood boards for you. The mood board above features more traditional spring colors and prints. The mood board below features various natural elements with a modern twist.
Decorating For Spring
When it comes to decorating for the four seasons, I believe that it’s best to build on what you currently have. Switch out vases and greenery/florals. Add little elements that remind you of spring. There isn’t a need to go crazy if that’s not your thing. Find a few pieces that you love and incorporate them into your existing decor.
This is also a good time to purge any decor that no longer brings you joy. Stop holding onto items as space fillers. By removing them, you will free up that space and make room for new things that you love.
What’s your favorite piece from Target’s spring line?
